YWAM San Diego Baja by the Numbers

If you follow this blog, or are on our email list, you know that 2012 was an awesome year for the McClurg family. If you haven't already, you can check out our McAnnual Report. Just the other day, I received a report with some of the numbers for all of Youth With A Mission San Diego/Baja. If you know me, you know that I sometimes struggle with numbers… So I made some pictures:

211 Homes of Hope Were Built for the Poorest of the Poor in 2012:

Includes all homes built in Tijuana, and Ensenada, Mexico and in San Pedro, Dominican Republic.

4,445 People Participated in Our Ministries

Includes all Homes of Hope, Mission Adventures participants, Mission Builder volunteers and U of N Students

400 People Per Week Were Impacted by Our Ministries

Our staff and participants impacted more than 20,000 lives in 2012

As you might imagine, Kay Charlotte and I are thrilled to be part of a ministry that has both a broad and deep impact. It is our privilege to be on staff with Youth With A Mission San Diego/Baja and we are so grateful to God for all that he's doing in and through us.

You Are Invited…

As I write, my Mom and my Stepdad are in Mexico volunteering at our YWAM center just north of Rosarito. Last week, my friend Damon brought a team from Minnesota to build a house for a family in need. This quarter my friends Rachel and Jay are Mission Builders. My friend David and his wife Emily are completing the Discipleship Training School in Ensenada this week. Are you sensing a theme here? You can be involved too… You can bring a team and build a house, or you can volunteer for a few weeks or a few months, you can even do a Discipleship Training School. Contact us for more info on how you can be a part of what God is doing among us!
