First Homes of Hope Build in Africa
We took the family to Bulanga, Uganda for two weeks. This was an amazing trip for many reasons:
- We built a Homes of Hope house for Faith and her twelve children
- This was the first Homes of Hope project in Africa
- We went on a safari as a family—a lifelong dream for both of us—highlights included seeing lions and a huge herd of elephants.
- Taylor chose to be baptized while we were on safari!
We are praying and planning for a return trip to Uganda this year to plant Homes of Hope so that more homes can be built for the poorest of the poor.
