We Make More Missionaries
The Harvest is Plentiful
But the Workers Are Few

You know how in Luke 10 Jesus says, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”? We do three things to create more workers for God’s global harvest
The Mission Adventures Network
Short-Term Outreaches for Groups
The Mission Adventures Network
Along with an amazing crew of other leaders, we co-founded the Mission Adventures Network in 1997. The goal was to multiply the short-term outreach ministry we created in Los Angeles. Today, Mission Adventures ministries are running at dozens of YWAM centers in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. We’re hoping that in 2020 we’ll see the first African Mission Adventures ministry led by Africans in Mozambique. To date, well over 125,000 teenagers have had their first mission experiences with us.

We Teach in YWAM’s University
We Are Part of the U of N’s Mobile Faculty
Teaching in YWAM Schools
Kay Charlotte and I both teach in YWAM’s global university on a variety of topics. Unlike a traditional school, YWAM’s University of the Nations has a mobile faculty. Instead of students having to go to the experts, YWAM teachers will join a school for a week-long intensive on a particular topic. We’ve focused our efforts on YWAM’s introductory level course, the Discipleship Training School or DTS. We teach on a variety to topics including, Relationships, Spiritual Warfare, Identity in Christ, Outreach Prep, and Redemption: Sin and the Cross, to name a few.
New in 2019: Mentoring!
We are intentionally walking with leaders.
New in 2019: Mentoring
This year we’ve developed mentoring relationships with several young leaders around the world, both inside and outside of YWAM. This has been naturally developing over the last few years. However, we decided to intentionally walk with several leaders this year in an effort to give them what we’ve received. In many cases, it’s not possible to meet with our mentees in person, so our mentorship is virtual, and we utilize technology to bridge the gap.

But That’s Not All…
There’s more! We are privileged to be a part of the YWAM San Diego/Baja eldership team. We meet together to strategize for the future direction, pastoral and ministerial care, as well as integral oversight for the operating outreach locations in Mexico. We love being on this team as we pray for students and staff and get to dream with this group of leaders about the future of YWAM SDB and what God wants it to become. It’s exciting to watch God open doors, as well as to help to decide the direction of growth as we increase in size with additional schools, ministries and campus development. We are always amazed to see what God has done with these ministries over the past thirty years. We know the best is yet to come!

2019 Quotes
We often receive thank you notes from students when we teach. Here are a few that touched our hearts.
“I am so thankful for your love and heart for all of us! I love how much time and energy you give. Thank you for serving us…”
“You have been such a huge blessing to me. This week has begun the process of breaking down my wall of shame brick by brick. Thank you! ”
“Wow, the way you reflect Jesus is incredible… The teaching has spoken so much to my heart and I’ve had such amazing revelation…”
2019 Milestones
Will You Send Us in 2020?
We are full-time volunteers with Youth With A Mission San Diego/Baja. What you may not know is that we do not receive a salary for our work. Instead, our needs are met by family and friends who believe in us and the work we do. Would you consider adopting our family as your missionaries? Any amount, whether regular, monthly giving, or an end-of-year gift is needed and so appreciated! Together, we can partner in advancing the gospel, and we can make more missionaries for God’s global harvest! Be a part of what we’re doing around the globe. Join our sending team.
