Today, the first of hundreds of students will arrive at our campus in Tijuana, Mexico. This team is coming all the way from Norway to participate in our Mission Adventures ministry. This week they'll walk with our staff as they follow Jesus.
Over the weekend, the Norwegian students will build a home for Fortino, Graciela and their five children. Fortino works hard at his construction job. Graciela cleans houses. Together they make less than $600 USD per month. When our YWAM staffer asked them why they were applying for a Homes of Hope house, Fortino responded, "This home is going to help so my children aren't cold at night."
"This home is going to help so my children aren't cold at night."
I am so grateful for this group of teens from Norway! Our staff have been planning, preparing and praying for this moment. Will you join us in prayer?
- Pray the build goes smoothly and injury-free.
- Pray the students will be challenged by our theme: All In
- Pray for strength and grace for our staff in Tijuana and Ensenada who will serve hundreds of students this Spring
